How to get from Barcelona Airport to Pensió Cerdanya

Taxi service is the fastest way to get to Pensió Cerdanya from Barcelona Airport. All the official Taxis in Barcelona are black and yellow.
To get to our Pensió you will find a taxi rank outside any of the main exits of Terminal 1 or 2. The journey to our Pensió will take you between 25 and 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Please note that there is a supplement of € 4.50 to take or pick up at the airport. The cost of the trip to our Pensió is around € 35-40 (including the supplement). You will find all the rates published inside the Taxi cab.
AEROBUS » Estimated total time: 50 minutes
The Aerobús service is a special bus service that connects Barcelona Airport (Terminal 1 and Terminal 2) with the city center in 35-40 minutes. The Aerobús operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The ticket costs € 6,75 for a single trip and € 11,65 for a round trip (valid for 90 days). Tickets can be purchased online, at the vending machines distributed near the bus stop and on the bus. To get to our Pensió you have to take the Aerobús from outside the terminal and get off at the “Plaça Catalunya” Station (on the map below you can see where the stop is). Once there you can come to our Pensió on foot (10 minutes) or you can take a taxi (2 minutes).
RENFE TRAIN » Estimated total time: 1 hour
The Train is located about 5 minutes walking from the main entrance of Terminal 2 of the Airport. A train runs every 30 minutes to the city center. Travel time is approximately 35 minutes. If you are in Terminal 1 there is a free bus service that connects both terminals with each other. The train ticket costs € 4.10.
A good idea is to buy a multi-trip card that will reduce the price of the trip since later you can also use it in the city to get around. You can buy the «T-casual» card for € 11.35, valid for 10 trips by metro, bus and train to the airport. Important: this card is one-person (cannot be shared). If you are traveling as a couple you may find it better to buy the “T-family” card for € 10, valid for 8 trips and which is multi-personal (it can be used by several people at the same time). With both cards, when you validate a trip, you have 75 minutes to make all the bus and metro combinations you need to reach your destination.
To get to our Pensió you have to take the Train at Terminal 2 and get off at the “Passeig de Gràcia” Station. Once there you can walk (about 12 minutes) or you can take a taxi from outside that Station and you will arrive at our Pensió in 3 or 4 minutes. BUS TMB » Estimated total time: 1 hour and 15 minutes
Barcelona Metropolitan Transport (TMB) has buses during the day and at night, from both terminals (T1 and T2). During the day it is bus number 46 (it leaves from T1 and T2). During the night there are night buses N17 (it leaves T1) and N16 (it leaves T2). A one-way ticket costs € 2.40 but you will need to buy 2 tickets so the total price will be € 4.80. Alternatively you can also use the «T-casual» or «T-family» card and take advantage of the advantages that we have already explained in the previous section.
To get to our Pensió you have to take the bus from outside the terminal and get off at the “Plaça Espanya” stop. Once there you have to take the H12 bus during the day or the N1 at night and get off at the “Metro Tetuan” stop. From there you have 1 minute walk to our Pensió. METRO » Estimated total time: 1 hour and 15 minutes
Metro Line 9 connects the city with Barcelona Airport. The price of the ticket to go from the Airport to any Barcelona Metro Station is € 5.15. Other valid tickets are also: the «T-Dia» card and the «Barcelona Travel Card» of 2, 3, 4 or 5 days. Neither the Single Ticket nor the «T-casual» or «T-family» card are valid.
To get to our Pensió you have to take the Metro Line 9 at the Airport and get off at the “Torrassa” Station and change to Line 1 until the “Urquinaona” Station. From there it is about a 5 minute walk to our Pensió. Warning: The «Urquinaona» Station does not have an elevator.
